PET Collection & Baling · Phnom Penh, Cambodia
RE:JYK collects, sorts, and bales post-consumer PET bottles across Cambodia. We are the critical link between street-level recovery and industrial-scale recycling.
See How We Work
RE:JYK is a PET bottle collection and baling operation based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We aggregate post-consumer PET bottles from 200+ collection points — working directly with waste pickers and middlemen — and process them into compressed, export-ready bales.
Without collection and aggregation, these bottles have no path to a second life. We build that path — connecting every discarded bottle to the downstream processors who give it new form.
In a market where over 90% of plastic waste still ends up in landfills or waterways, RE:JYK provides the missing infrastructure: reliable, scalable collection and preparation of PET feedstock for the recycling industry.
We handle everything between the moment a bottle is collected and the moment it reaches a processor.
PET bottles sourced from 200+ collection points, waste pickers, and middlemen across Cambodia.

Sorted by color, contamination level, and polymer type. Non-PET materials separated.

Labels and surface contaminants removed, improving material quality for downstream processors.

Clean, sorted bottles compressed into dense bales. Tagged, batch-tracked, and export-ready.

EVERY BOTTLE TRACKED. EVERY GRAM ACCOUNTED FOR.
Every supplier in our network has a unique ID. Every batch is weighed at intake and again after processing. We decompose each shipment into its exact composition: PET content, caps, moisture, waste, and other contaminants — by weight, by supplier, by region.
This level of granularity is rare in emerging-market recycling. It means we can tell you the exact PET yield rate of any supplier, any region, any time period. For ESG compliance, plastic credit verification, or carbon accounting — our data is audit-ready.

Purpose-built facility. 24/7 operation, 150+ tonnes/month.

200+ collection points. Direct partnerships, stable demand, fair pricing.

Consistent clean baled PET output for downstream processors.
Bridging informal collection and industrial recycling.
At the intersection of Southeast Asia's rPET demand and Cambodia's untapped feedstock.
Stable purchasing creates livelihood security for vulnerable collectors.
RE:JYK isn't just processing plastic. We're proving a model — one designed to scale across Cambodia and become foundational infrastructure for the country's recycling ecosystem.
A cross-border team that combines international capital access, financial structuring, and data-driven operations with deep local networks. Our competitors operate on intuition; we operate on unit economics. That asymmetry is our moat.
Cambodia's EPR framework is taking shape. First movers who lock in supplier networks today will face exponentially higher acquisition costs tomorrow. The regulatory tailwind is coming — we're already positioned.
Multi-site deployment across Cambodia's key provinces. The model is validated — each new site carries lower marginal cost as our supplier management systems, buyer relationships, and operational playbooks transfer directly.
When EPR lands and plastic credit mechanisms activate, the largest verified PET data holder in Cambodia becomes a gatekeeper. We're not just building a recycling business — we're building the dataset that underpins the entire system.
The place I grew up in — Taiwan — was, forty years ago, working through the same questions Cambodia is working through now. Today it recycles at world-leading rates, exports recycling technology, and treats environmental literacy as basic education. I watched that transition happen.
Cambodia will write its own version. We're here to be part of how — not by importing a finished system, but by writing the playbook as we go, testing it against the data, and rewriting it when the ground tells us to.
